A 5-day Draught Survey and Introduction to Ship’s Stability Course provides delegates the following topics:
– Ship knowledge, Areas and Volumes
– Draught readings and Density
– Sounding of Tanks
Ship Stability (including Grain stability) Module:
– Comprehension of Intact, Damage and Grain stability;
– Use of Loading and Stability Manuals and Ballast Sounding Tables;
– Calculation of Intact, Damage and Grain Stability Parameters including drawing;
– GZ-curve and calculation of Weather Criterion;
– Drawing of Dynamic Stability Diagram;
– Use of Simpson’s rules;
– Laws and Regulations (IS Code, International Grain Code);
– Comprehension of the National Cargo Bureau rain stability calculation form.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Operational and Management levels Marine Deck Officers and Surveyors.

Cancellation less than in 5 working days prior to the course start without a reasonable reason (providing the relevant documents: a health certificate) is subject to 100% payment of the course and accommodations fees.
Cancellation in more than 5 working days prior to the course start is free of charge.
In case of inability of completing the course in full amount, the payment will be kept in proportion to the content of the passed material.
