Ahead of the new academic year, the KMSTC team, together with colleagues from Kherson State Maritime Academy and VILNIUS TECH Lithuanian Maritime Academy, successfully completed international training in safeTALK, ASIST and Training for Trainers (T4T) delivered by LivingWorks.
This training provides knowledge and practical skills that can make a real difference when they are needed most: recognising signs of crisis in time, responding appropriately, and knowing how to offer support.
For the maritime community, where professional responsibility is combined with long periods away from home, separation from loved ones and significant psychological pressure, mental health awareness and timely support are particularly important.
For KMSTC, this is more than another training programme. It is another practical step towards developing a learning environment where safety, support and humanity are an integral part of professional maritime education. ⚓️
