August 22, 2017 Kherson State Maritime Academy has held the joint proficiency training with the employees of the Headquarters of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kherson department and Kherson Maritime Specialized Training Center.
During 4 Hours, the trainees struggled on task with procedures and techniques in safe operations with personal respiratory protection, basic and advanced firefighting equipment on fire ground and smoke house as well as rescue aloft.
All activities were simulated close to the real environment like ship architecture and port and shipyard facilities in order to comply with local and international requirement.
