Course Name: Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader and its refresher.
Ocupational Training International (OTI), Baku, Azerbaijan in conjunction with KMSTC partner.
Target group: This programme is designed to meet the initial onshore training and assessment requirement for the Offshore Emergency Response Team Leader.
Aims: To provide delegates with the additional skills necessary to develop and fulfil the role of emergency fire team leader and to be able to demonstrate competence in that role.
Objectives: At the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Assess an incident in the role of Fire Team Leader
- Evaluate the information and take appropriate action
- Review available information or instructions throughout the incident
- Confirm the suitability (or otherwise) of any pre-formed plan(time permitting)
- Plan the response if no pre-formed plan is suitable
- Execute the emergency response plan
- Monitor and control the use of resources
- Evaluate progress and alter plans as appropriate
- Determine when incident is complete

Attendance on this programme is open to delegates who have previously attended a BOSIET or FOET and Offshore Emergency Response Team Member Training to the agreed OPITO standards or a suitable alternative programme.
